Just not entirely sure about the implimentation and/or how long your 'GPU board' would stay current. I guess only haveing to produce the MXM cards with the GPU on them would cut down long term production costs.
The other thing that would bother me is the heat sink design, especially regarding the efficency (or lack thereof) of the 'silent cooling'.
