clevo w110er power button

i received my w110er earlier this week from clevo.

its all well and good however i have just one niggle, i dont know if this is a problem or not, hopefully you guys can shed some light.

when i want to turn the laptop on i 'press' the power button, nothing happens. i must hold it for it to power up. whats up with that? i have never had a laptop that requires me to 'hold' the power button.

is this normal?

Yep, heard this a lot on the 17 and 15 inch models

Never been a drama for me, l prefer the hold on to switch on less likely to accidently be powered on in a bag? or sticky fingers of my 2yr old daughter lol.
