Hi
I am doing a bit of basic upgrading of my DAW with a much larger new drive - it is SATA where the other drives are IDE. Not wanting to go through the process of reloading all my software I decided to clone my relatively small hard drive (c) to th much larger new SATA hard drive (not SSD) which I have called G and it comes up as local disk G but the new drive doesn't show (System, Boot, Page File or crash dump) - I cant see it in the BIOS not in F12 Boot - the one I thought it was just hangs at boot. I used AOMEI Backupper to clone the drive - not sure if I selected the right options but the cloning appeared to be a success and I can see all the files including the system files for Windows 10 on the new drive. Can anyone advise me as to how to get it to boot from the new drive, please?
Thanks

try using macrium reflect to image your c drive then writ ethat image to the larger drive. Rather than cloning it as you now have. then set the larger drive as the boot drive
