Does any one have this installed and working on a Desire?

I downloaded today and when i get to the screen where i have to create a Co-Pilot ID, when i type in my email addy, it all gets a bit screwy. 1st letter goes in ok, but when i type the second on i get the first letter again then the second. This then repeats for the third and so on by adding what is already on the screen before the typed letter appears (eg aabaabcaabcd...........)

    Is rather annoying

I had the same problem - its a total pain on the behind. Basically just take each letter one at a time and whenever it autocompletes extra letters for you just delete (which I found took a few stabs). Takes a while and no idea what the problem is but once you get it installed its well worth it - very accurate and for the money its amazimg.

I disabled any typing apps such as wide keys, etc etc. Works fine then.

Why did you buy this over just google navigation?

Copilot customer service is the worst i have ever experienced

Because it's better than Google Navigation.

i hate the sytnthesised voices in GNav and having to download the route - no such issues in CoPilot. And at £23 it's not exactly expensive.
