Getting some varied results. First run was around 4k.

Second run. Not changed anything, just clicked run again.

Go figure.

Also, can't upload. Is there a trick to doing it?

Been playing with this most of the afternoon, finally got to number 1 XD I was surprised how well the 5970 OCed, stuck with 985/1175 on all 3 GPU's, any higher was hard to keep stable and I think its because the PSU can't cope (knew I should have got the Enermax 1250W ). Peak power consumption was 760W from the wall and thats only the GFX cards being stressed, nothing else :\

I have tried but even with my cards at 985/1180 and the cpu at 4.41Ghz I'm still miles away. This benchmark really doesn't scale very well at all. Average GPU usage during the test is around 67% which is the same as 2 GPUs at 100%. I've emailed the creators about this and a few other bugs and they say the performance issue is a driver problem so we'll have to wait for ati to catch up.

I know my memory speeds are holding me back but anything over 1180 on the 5970 causes windows to lock up. What volts are you running to get 1000/1300?

I found that It doesnt matter about CPU Speed that much all in the Raw GPU speed

Im running 1.287v on the GPU's for that speed

I think you will find your memory is ok as it is... if you go past 1250mhz the benchmark runs slower so your ok on that front

Im going to try 1050 on the 5850 now

With 1100Mhz on the 5850 I get 8950 :/

Not sure if the 5850 will go any more :(

1050 on the 5850 Gives me 8852 sweet points!

Im going to try 1100Mhz and see if that will give me 9000 then im done as i feel im killing my PC

I have to restart my PC before each new run... if i try and run again after allready running the bench it gives only 6000 points... and looks feked lol

Just close ComputeMark and open it again, much quicker :p

I tried the 5870 @ 1050 but got a lower score than it @ 1000. If the 5870 is at higher clocks than the 5970 then it won't go to 99% utilisation. The bigger the difference in clock speeds the less the 5870 is utilised. With the cards at stock clocks for example the 5870 won't go above 84% usage while the 5970 is at 99%.

I'm done with this for now, running these clocks on air cooling is too risky for my liking. Almost bricked my 5970 the other day doing this  screen when off, rebooted, 5970 didn't exist according to Windows. Looked at the card and the red LED's were lit up on the back of the card, oops XD

I should be getting another 5870 soon. Can I add it to this setup and use it for Quad-fire? :D

Awwwwww you giveing up?

At least you didn't knock me off the number 1 spot yet :p

I found that my 5850 at 1100 gave best results, it's annoying that the 5970 has a lock so it wnt go past 1000mhz on gpu :(
