You don't need to use print screen. Right click, mark, select the bit you want, hit enter, and paste it.
Though a yes/no answer would suffice :p

start run cmd ping 192.168.1.1

post results

then do this

on your lan network card add this to the dns settings

80.255.253.50
80.255.253.58.


see if you can access the net after you changed the dns settings on your pc

or you mean the network card connects but you cant access the router or internet?

what happened between that and your last post?

From before: Just that, i was connected to the router, yet i could not get into the router settings, or access the internet.

Now: Ping failed before and after.

on that router you have 4 ports have you tried connected the network cable and testing each port?

plus does your router page look like this



?


another question your isp did they give you a password and user name. just want to make sure your not on a bridge connection.
and have you turned off windows firewall?

Yeah i have username and password, they have to be entered for the usb connection to work.

Similar fields, but that is not my interface, mine is that shown in post 52. The lilac one.

iam gonna do screen shots and you copy them ok.

ok log into your router via the usb
then at the main page start isp setting it should look like this
apart from the user name and password.
