I am currently using prodigy as my ADSL ISP and have a Draytek ADSL Router as my dad requires a secure VPN connection.

Sky provide a "Broadband box" which is rumoured to be a custom netgear wireless router. Will we be able to connect the sky box and our old draytek router together so he can use his VPN connection?

Depends how you would want to use it.

If the Draytek router's only has an ADSL modem as it's WAN interface then basically your only option would be to hook it up to the Draytek and use it simply as a wireless AP and a 4 port switch.
