Will the USB hub option of some monitors allow control of three PC's using one mouse, one keyboard and one monitor (subject to monitor having 3 PC inputs such as HDMI, DVI, VGA) ?

If this is possible what connectivity do I need from the PC's to the USB hub of the monitor ?

    Thx for any help

OK, after a quick "google" a KVM switch seems a reasonable option.

I need to connect 2 DVI and 1 VGA or possibly 3 DVI PC outputs to a KVM including audio, any recommendations for a good 4 port KVM that will allow this. Also, possibly one of the PC's will be running linux if thats a factor. The mouse and keyboard are USB and all PC's have USB ports available.

This may be of use if you don't want to spend any money, you just need to be able to plug 3 PCs into 1 monitor (not all can).
