I didn't think it was too bad. It could have been a lot better but it was nice to mix Enterprise with TNG in a way that the fans would recognise it. Any chance to see the TNG crew on screen again is a good thing in my books 
I quite enjoyed some of S4's 3 parters that delved into Star Trek history. How the Vulcans changed, the Augments, and er other things that were so great I don't remember them at all
