Ok it looks kind of funky but at the moment I'm not sure it does anything more than acts as an interactive screensaver. Ok now I've watched the rest of it, it looks like it has a bit of potential but must be stupidly pricey and still a bit of a gimmick.

Yeh, this video about multitouch was in a thread the other day. Interesting stuff, possibly to be in the new iPod.

Brilliant technology there. As said would be priced stupidly. But people will buy them. I can see the potential when game already.

Nice technology, could redefine how we use computers. I really wanted to avoid using the word cool but heck, its damn cool.

Difference between that and the Apple one is I don't see how the Sony one can be used for consumer uses on a large scale. I.e. a screen. Wouldn't you need atleast 10 pieces of those glass coaster things?

Nintendo had this but made a whole (well, small) floor out of it to demonstrate some new ideas for games.

Is it only me that can see the massive potential this multi-touchscreen technology has to offer

I think it looks brilliant, imagine having computers like in minority report, how cool would it be for drawing things and doing image work plus multitasking, editing, the list goes on

Very nice indeed. Brings to mind The Lawnmower Man film.
