CPU cooler for high profile RAM

I have an ivybridge i7 CPU and I'm using Ripjaw-X RAM.

I'm currently using the stock Intel cooler, which is pretty poor. I'd like a new heatsink (with or without fan) but it's hard to know whether a cooler would fit, or if my RAM would be in the way.

I'm currently looking at the Phanteks PH-TC14CS

...simply due to it looking like it may fit.

Can anyone suggest a suitable fan?

I realise I could go for somethin like a Corsaid H80, but I don't want the pump noise (my motherboard can stop all fans, going into passive mode, so I can get pretty quiet!).

i had to remove the heat sink from one of my corsair vengeance stick becoz of this, i thought dd3 uses much lower voltage and runs much cooler, so i dont know why all the top memory sticks have huge heatsinks.

i know Scythe Slip Stream do some much thinner fans for this exact reason.

Thanks for the help. I actually visited the Noctua website and they have a RAM compatibility table! Guess I should have started there!

Will probably go with a Noctua NH-D14 then :)

D-14 is great, the fan can be moved higher up anyway if you had extremely tall ram. D-14 heatsink is so big, I can run mine passively, but I don't bother because I can't hear it at 800rpm anyway.
