Yes was the P4 prescotts back in 2004
Intel named them 5xx to differentiate them from the socket 478 chips.
This was the first time intel didn't use the clock speed in the name.
The new chipsets 915 and 925 had pci express and not AGP.

So a few firsts,the beginning of PCI E and the beginning of the end for AGP.
The new socket 775 boards also supported DDR 2.
