Hello :)

I currently have a 250GB external HDD which I'm connecting to my macbook running Mac OS Tiger via USB.

I currently only have a 80GB NTFS partition on the drive, which I am unable to write to (presumably because NTFS is a Microsoft technology). I'd like to therefore create a FAT32 partition so that I may actually use the HDD.

any ideas how i go about this this please?

You need to use Disk Utility to create a new FAT32 partition (MS-DOS filing system as Apple calls it). If you've not partitioned the entire disk already, you should be able to select the empty space and then create a new parition on it.

Sorry to be a bit vague but I am Mac-less at the moment.
