I look forward to the thorough 'TNA' review post! :)
Well not far off now. I have literally finished every mission the game has to offer. No blue icons left now. Got the achievements for it also. Shows that only just 1.3% to 1.5% of people have got those achievements.

Only got 3 cars left to buy also now, but I decided to go ahead and do the final story mission. Plan to do all the different endings and then after will buy the rest of the cars which will then leave nothing left to do apart from drive around and admire the city :D

I skipped quite a few of the side missions. I’ll do them at some point.

So can you go back to all side missions you missed then, even after you finish game ?

Yes & No

There are some that tie in with the story which can't be done if left too late.
Some also provide more depth to the main story so the story does not feel complete if you skip them.

If you leave the majority of the side missions till the end you'll miss large chunks of the game

Talking of side missions, I've just come across two which I'd missed or unknowingly screwed up the first run through - I'll spoiler these just in case but they have no input into the Main story at all.

Generic side mission No1 -

The first was driving for Claire, the bar-tender from The Afterlife, in a series of races. Initially I just it'd be a series of races and, as I'm using a KB & Mouse I didn't want to get involved as my car handling is awful, so I declined. Well this run through I thought I'd give it ago and whilst, yes there's some racing, the side story between Claire and another driver is far more indepth than I initially thought and for reasons which quickly escalate.

Side Mission No2 - Just a word of warning, this mission is a bit shocking -

The second was genuinely "disturbing" and if the finale doesn't make some impact on you whilst you play it then I'd be amazed. It starts with a side mission "Sinnerman" where you are the driver for a man who wants revenge on man who pleaded guilty to murdering his wife as he's travelling under police escort. In my initial playthrough I just ran up to the cop car and shot him, completing the mission whilst being chased away by Police. However this time around I remained unarmed and you can talk to the murderer which opens up 2 more missions surrounding him, the last of which I won't spoiler except to say it ends up with the guilty party in a BrainDance studio and doing something (on his own free will) which was mind-blowing.

@TNA I think I recall you mentioning your fondness for Deus Ex in the past. How do you think CP2077 compares in terms of narrative and immersion?

I prefer the original Deus Ex still, but I enjoyed this more than say Mankind Divided. I honestly think had they worked on this a year or two more before release they could have had something very special on their hands. As it is it is a very good game and I loved playing it. I have zero regrets playing it on release personally.

I really hope they do not let the negative press get to them and release a sequel. Will post a more detailed review in a day or two. Going to try out the different endings and also got only two cars to unlock now which won’t take long as with crafting I am making weapons that sell 1K a pop. Shame the crafting button is not something you can hold down to craft faster. There is a mod for it out there that fixes this but I can’t be asked with that as I am nearly done now anyway.

Out of interest, is there any particular reason to buy the various cars that are offered?
Do they in themselves progress or achieve anything, as I tend to fly around the place on a bike, or mostly run.

There are multiple points. You are able to make the purchased car your main car which you can call and use at any time or swap them around at any time and call and drive whatever you fancy. They show up on your side missions and are on the map waiting to be done which the completionist in me wanted to do. Also you unlock an achievement by buying all the cars.

I only bought the first car I was offered - some sort of battereed hatchback for about £20k which isnt that great, but OK.
But now I have 3 cars and a motorbike to select when I 'call my car' - I think you just get gifted vehicles sometimes on some missions, which adds to your garage.

On that basis i'm not bothered about 'buying' any more vehicles. I'll occasionaly car jack one if it looks cool, but for general transprtation, the soprtscars are too fast and uncontrolable.

Supprisngly one of the better cars I've jacked was a little electric city type bubble car, handles like it's on rails and although its not very fast, its much easier to drive around in for general transport.

If you do the taxi missions you get given a taxi, which isn't bad, much better than the banger you first get offered in terms of drivability.

I wants dem all! :p

The amount of crafting materials I have I could probably make 1 million worth of credits crafting 1K guns and selling them. Thing is each selling place only has around 20K so you need to drive around to different places to sell. I just do it while enjoying driving around anyway so no big deal.

On a separate note, has anyone tried out Legendary Contagion? I cleared out so many blue icons pulling up using contagion and watching them all die in 5 seconds due to the perk I got that spreads it from one guy to another :D

It is in the quickhacking skill tree. It is all the way on the left side and you can upgrade it 3 times which adds to how many people it spreads too. You probably need to be intelligence level 15 at least I would image to get access to it.

I concentrated on Body, Intelligence and Tech pretty much equally. Did not touch a reflex or the other one. I did put the last points I got into reflex in the end though, but I one shot anyone if I get them in the head with my handgun anyway, so don’t see the point in putting in any perks into that.

I think im about there now, lots of points on body/health re-gen, and shotguns and pistols, a kind of tank/barbarian build, but it's getting a bit boring wading into fights and battering people with a crowbar and/or finishing them off with a powerfull shotgun.
Need to mix it up a bit hahah
Thanks

Because I thought I was going to be short on time I smashed my through the main story really quick. Pressures off now so I can do all the sides, am glad to see that they aren't just filler like some games (looking at you Ghost Recon) and are all pretty diverse so far.
Plus, (putting on flame hat) Johnny doesen't seem to pop up as much with his William Shatner syle of speech. :D:D

Pretty much my thoughts as well. Also, I can't help but feel that in light of how CP2077 has worked out in terms of quality, that the next few years would be an opportune time to develop and release another DE; the cyberpunk, fp / rpg genre is arguably more established and "in vogue" in comparison to a few years ago, and so it's a perfect time to take advantage of that. Especially with a pre-established and highly regarded franchise such as DE. A Deus ex reboot / remake, for example, would be very well received imo.

Ah man, that would be the best. Thing is, those guys take 5 years to make a Deus Ex game, so unless they started it already then it would not be coming out anytime soon. The things I would love to see in the short term would be a Deus Ex Remaster using RT and a third Deus Ex with Adam Jensen where they use the same engine and graphics as Mankind Divided.
