So I had my deathadder delivered earlier - it's great! Except for one minor (although actually quite horrible) flaw - the mouse scrapes across cloth mousemats because of a rough bit on the underside. Googling it confirmed this is a known fault, and the solution is to buy (or DIY) some thicker mouse feet, raising the mouse up far enough so that it doesn't make contact with the mat.

Actually, it's not okay...! So I went about trying to find exactly what part was scraping. The solution: stick the sticky part of a post-it note over the area in the photo below - scraping solved!
