i'm looking to upgrade my TFT screen and these two both look pretty tasty. Out of the two which would you go for? I like the 6ms responce time on the NEC, but I use Dell monitors in work and love the design and the insane amount of connection options and the picture in picture features. I've read the NEC review and it looks really nice, but I just can't decide.
I have the NEC at home, and use a 2005 at work. The Dell does have the connectivity and PIP/PBP advantage, but it's not something I use in work or would use at home. As a display the NEC wins hands down, so for me it's NEC for the win.
Hi there I was impressed when I saw the DELL playing Farcry but the NEC just does it all so much better all over again.
I found on the 2005 that the PIP and PBP were big let downs. They only let you choose from svideo or composite with DVI or VGA, so no DVI and VGA PBP. Also in PBP the two screens are so small, you could fit 6 of them on the screen.
