Diablo III without internet?

Hi guys,

Never played a game on my rMBP but decided to shell out on Diablo III since everybody is saying its a different game since v2.0 (bad reviews stopped me getting it in the past).

Anyway, I have bought it because I am off to Australia and want something for the plane, only to find out that it needs an internet connection to play single player???

Anybody know a legit way around this? I have bought it through battlenet so don't really want to be doing dodgy cracks

Any ideas?

p.s. Flying with Cathay Pacific and they don't have wi-fi like Emirates and Qantas, plus I don't know how much data it would eat if if there was on-board wifi...

everything from drops to mob spawning is run by their servers so no chance im afraid

Can't be done I'm afraid, it was deliberately engineered on the PC to be online only.

I'm afraid not. If you want something similar to play on the plane, may I suggest Torchlight 2.

Or Titan Quest + Immortal Throne addon (usually sold together as TQ gold, and cheap and excellent) but I'm not sure if it runs natively on Mac.

you can do it, but you need to run a server emulator for it to work, if you look hard enough you could find the info.
