Did Barca prove that the Premiership is a week League

The only thing that Barca beating Chelsea 'proves' is that Barca are (arguably) a better team that Chelsea.

By that logic, the Spanish league may in fact be a lot weaker than the Premiership overall. Take for example the example given above about the 2nd placed team in Spain failing to score a single goal in two legs against the 5th placed team in England, who had 6 defenders injured for both matches as well.

Barca played Chelsea at a time when Chelsea seem to have hit a "blip"
Also last season there were no spanish teams in the semis and 2 english teams there.
if you look at the spanish clubs after the top 5 they are all similar calibre to the other premiership teams outside top 5.
premier league is the best as its highly competitive and arguably the bottom club can beat the top club on their day e.g boro near bottom hammering chelsea 3-0.
