Paranoid ?, Dont believe all you read, making a OS nobody in the know how would want to run aint in interest of MS cause nobody would run it.

The Next-Generation Secure Computing Base (NGSCB), formerly known as Palladium, is a software architecture designed by Microsoft which will implement the controversial trusted computing concept on future versions of the Microsoft Windows Operating System.

When Microsoft announced the name change to NGSCB, the stated reason was that the name Palladium was trademarked,...............It is possible that Microsoft's decision to abandon the name was influenced by bad publicity surrounding the product..................................In early 2006, Microsoft renamed the NGSCB project at Microsoft to the System Integrity Team.

Its the same thing, different labels :)

You're right, of course..... no need to ever run or install vista - not for a few years anyway :D.
