The last 2 days when I have started my PC it has performed a Disk Integrity check each time.

It takes about 2 mins to complete but scrolls so fast I can see if it is actually finding any errors.

It may be coincidence but the only 2 major changed I have made was a) the latest Microsoft patched b) A defrag

The PC runs fine and I have taken the liberty of creating an image of the disk, however its 250GB in size and I dont have anything that will take a file that big :p

    Any thoughts?

Try deliberately running check disk from within windows and see if it reports anything.

Then get hold of the manufacturer's diagnostic and see if that finds a problem.
