Disk recovery software for a MAC? HELP!

HI to all the mac people! I have some inportant data on a G4 that had a M/board go and the hard disk has been removed and pluged into another mac.

thing is i can see the files and everything but when i go to copy them over it cant do it!

is there any kinda software that might help me recover the disk to be able to copy the data over!

What happens when you try and copy it???

You might have to show info and set the permissions to that system/user
