hey guys
recently been having a problem with my crappy pc ive been trying to install windows on my SCSI seagate drives connected to an adaptec 39320 (raid0 array) which has worked flawlessly for years now but i keep getting an invalid system disk error
i've made a splipstreamed windows cd and it finds the drive and formats/copies windows files to it fine, just when rebooting and booting from the scsi it gives me the invalid system disk error
i've tried the drives setup as a raid0 array and as seperate drives, and windows xp and vista and the same thing happens i dont want to install on any of my other drives because i want to use the 15k drives for windows
i really dont know what the problem is because the drives partition and format fine, and the windows files are copies over with no problems, its just booting from them
any ideas guys? im really stuck here
