Do Tescos sell a lower grade fuel?

yes, supermarket fuel is bad. Optimax is the fuel of choice for the 300, runs nice and is FAST on that stuff, supermarket fuel makes it detonate badly so it never gets given that. Normal fuel also cause a mild knock and results in safety boost, this why optimax makes it so much faster...

My scoob only gets Optimax, or SUL if I'm not near a Shell garage. There's no way I would ever put supermarket cr@p anywhere near my tank. Ever.

thats because optimax is a different fuel than all the rest sell, all the other types are the same no matter where you buy it. Ive stopped comming on here much now so probably wont reply for ages to this thread but its a complete joke to suggest a car would run differently off fuel from 2 different garages cos its all the same:p There are only 2 types of "unique" fuel sold to the public, thats optimax and BP's 98ron effort.
