Does cable braiding invalidate my PSU warranty?

i think so as you have to take connectors off to do a neat job

it would yes.. but how would they prove it?

just make sure you remove the braiding if you need to send it back

Thats what i did and they never said a word

I even accidently left a UV connecter attached lol I dont think they care tbh

but to be on the safe side just remove it if u do need to sned it back

I wouldn't gamble if you are unwilling to fork out to buy a new one incase the supplier/manufacturer says 'warranty void'

ALSO u can get spiral cable wraps that covers cables and you dont need to remove the molex cases either

^they look horrible and are far to thick and don't look nearly/anywhere near as good as braided cables

In a lot of cases thats true! (well most cases) but it is a lot better than the yellow/red/black wires.

Its great for people who arnt that comftable removing molex plugs, using a heat gun/straightners or like me are crap at adding them lol I was SO glad when my psu came with pre braided wires lol
