By which logic you could in fact do it in 1 line by drawing it at a <very> slight angle, and having it travel the full circumference of the world. Of course this would be very silly and pointless...

Was looking at this with a mindset of a solution where the lines did not cross for some reason. Without that constraint it is rather simple.

It does seem to rely on carefully chosen wording to 'hide' the answer. I suppose it wouldn't be a puzzle if the drawing area was clearly bigger. Misdirection doesn't really seem that clever when the answer is shown.
