Right now im going to try my hand at some case modding, so im gonna start small.

I would like to tilt my DVD drive 45 degrees downware, so that when the tray opens it will come at a 45 agnle to the front of the case. Its looks like it can be don, has any ever tried this and can gimme some advice.

If you don't understand ill draw a diagram.

Not a good idea, the drive will fail quicker unless its a laptop style one as they are only designed to spin the disk when flat.

    But it could be done.

Oh i didnt realise that. Suppose if its a good enough drive it will hold the disc tight.

There's usually slide out pins with most CD/DVD drives to hold the disk in place, but I'm pretty sure most aren't supposed to work at a funny angle.
