DVD Stutter

    My DVD drive goes very slowly and stutters when playing audio / video from it. Wether it be a film DVD or lots of individual avis / audio files on a disk.

    Help?!

    you mean your standalone player under your tele?

    if so then yeah, that does happen, I have a sony and its very fussy, I usually try and burn disks slowly and when im not really using my pc too hard

    that could be lots of things to be honest. Trying using different software and make sure DMA is enabled for the drive as well.

    Check your ASPI drivers as well.
    If your using Nero to burn video files onto DVD, get rid of the Win32ASPI.dll file out of the Nero coare folder as well.
