Yes I seen something similar... only thing that it didnt bead the FX chip was with need for speed... but hey I dont care about that :)

Would like to see any benchies of the extreme edition :)

Their ES E6400 has 4MB L2 cache whereas the production version is said to only have 2MB?

with the long-awaited engineering sample of the new desktop CPU from Intel, based on Conroe core — Core 2 Duo E6400 (2.13 GHz). Indeed, our processor was a real engineering sample, some intermediate modification at that: its clock is like in the production-line E6400, but its L2 Cache is twice as large (judging from some grapevine about specifications of production-line processors.)
Who knows how much the extra cache is helping in those benchmarks but even with only 2MB it's likely to still be a very good CPU.
