eBay sale. Korean buyer using UK handler.

So it's small value. But what happens when they get it and say it's broken and make a claim?

I have a similar sale which went very well. Die cast metal cars to Japan.

I also specified UK sale, use only a recorded method for postage

What difference does it make if you've sold to a proxy?, as you've opted for GSP you could potentially encounter the issue anyway.

Googling him the names comes up once or twice as a scam.

It's low value, but I just can't be bothered with the stress.

If I cancel the sale am I liable for fees?

GSP seems to protect the seller quite a bit.

So. The payment of came from intercommerce Korea. Googleing them led me to this site and search:

They've charged 50,500 won which is roughly £35.
So that's £20 mark up less shipping fees. Which I'm sure in small per unit if they ship a lot in bulk.

If they've bought it to sell on for profit, they're probably not trying to scam you.

Triple the price and start shipping to Korea. Maybe even get them bulk manufactured in China (although they'll just nick the idea and sell them for pennies).
