Expansion of memory

Hi guys,
I'm new here and apologize if this topic has been discussed before.
I would like to expand the memory, however my computer is quite old (2015) and RAM I have has been discontinued. I have ASRock 297 Extreme 6 Intel 297 (socket 1150) motherboard and Kingston HyperX 2x8GB 2400Mhz (discontinued). Can you please advise which memory will be compatible with these 2 hardwares?

Welcome aboard.

No sense to waste money onto it.
That's DDR3 platform with only outdated very low end by todays standards CPUs available for it.
More memory won't fix that.

16gb of ram is fine unless your doing anything that specifically needs more.

As above no need to spend any further money on ddr3 as you wouldn't be able to carry it forward to a future upgrade
