Well yes and no.

Never personally owned an AMD or Apple machine (the Tual is mine) not sure why, propably because most of my IT stuff is old office hardware.

The 805 Rig is first all new build - wanted high clocking inexpensive rig for video editing.

Farm is basically all the PC's at my work (also why none are OC'ed) plus mine and my brothers.

I see, so most of them are in the office and we're bought in bulk? And it's just by chance that yours and our brothers are intel

I understand about the cheap OC rig I'm trying to build a new rig and have been thinking of buying an 805 D there so cheap but can go so fast

Problem is I really want to build my Dual Opteron 270 rig but thats very exspensive

And no I don't have room for 2 dual core machines

chip is cheap, but mobo, and ram are not, should have waited and got a conroe conpatable mobo, but saw a b-grade p5wd2 premium and grabed it.

Should be folding by weekend so production will be up.

Your having problems with the WU 761 too I see.

Eugh yes.

-oneunit flag does not work with service installation.
It stops then simply restarts and downlaods another WU, in this case a 761 :rolleyes:

So now I'll have to wait ages.

on your self confessed 'self maintaining' farm why do you need the -oneunit flag?

And on the other matter - you might be able to stay ahead of me today, but tomorrow I've got some 2500 points to dump

I had folding running on a friends Dual core but I had to take it off, it isn't on much and when it is on it's being used for gaming so it's not worth it. Both cores we're like 80% odd so I copied to WU's over to my lappy to finish them off

worst results day ever :eek:

(even lower that my first day folding - and that was with only one machine!)
Lets just say I was not a happy man yesterday. (but this forum keep me smiling

)

Today is a new day - and I've a number of WU finishing in the next 10 hours, was tempted to just run single threads, but in the long run duel give 40-50% more so stuck with.

It's pretty cool.

I think it would work better in a very high contrast grayscale rather than black and white though.
