Failed PSU

As of today, my PC has stopped booting (nothing has been changed for a while), it just spins the fans up for a few seconds and then turns off. I'm guessing it's the power supply (just over 5 years old).

Could anyone recommend a like for like alternative power supply? I'm seriously out of date with hardware :( I mean something which is going to have the same connections so I can plug everything in and go.

Not fussed if it's more expensive if I'm going to get a better product.

Current (possibly broken) one is:

"Seasonic SS-520GB Active PFC F3 (Ball Bearing Fan) S12II-520Bronze"

Thanks

Power supply and motherboard would be first suspects.
Of course would be also good to make sure that all cables are firmly attached.

80+ Bronze is such aged design in every way that anyway modern PSU wouldn't be bad thing if you use PC lot.

For cheaper alternative to Seasonic Focus Plus Antec Earthwatts Gold Pro uses same insides with semi-modular cabling

Thanks both :) I've just gone for the Seasonic Focus Plus. Happy to go for something that's going to last. Now fingers crossed it's not the motherboard! :/
