Family car... Accord?

Im currently looking at a new accord estate, interior of the accord has come a long way in the last two generations.

In fairness I've not seen the current one - the last one I saw was at the end of the model above. The new one looks really nice from the pictures actually

As I said, its difficult to describe, but I just think it's uneccesary, makes it look cluttered, borderline patronising.

iaind entered a competition to win a car a few weeks ago.

To his amazement he won a AMG CL63!

When it turned up on his driveway he was furious to learn that it had ACCEL / DECEL on some of the controls on the steering wheel. There was even UP and DOWN written on the buttons for changing gear!

How dare they insult me by providing a car with such wording on the buttons, he thought. How dare they!!

So in his fury, he complained to the MD of Mercedes-Benz and insisted that he wouldn't drive the car until they had removed the offending wording.

Unsurprisingly, there wasn't a response from Mercedes-Benz and the car remained outside his driveway for many months without being driven....

iaind was very cross during those many months but refused to give in to being patronised in such a way. iaind's mother, seeing his misery, tried to sooth him and but he would not be moved She racked her brain for many months but eventually came to a solution!

The very new accord interior looks really really good imo.

Shame its about 10k out of budget
