Several current and ex staff members here confirming. Most of the RPG department is gone, FFI is gone completely.

If you're invested in any of their games, might be worth picking up expansions now before they become second hand only and prices rocket.

That said there's no news yet on what it means for any particular line, you just have to kinda assume they're going to let go of expensive licenses.

There is news that the more recent Star Wars licenses are under threat. Destiny is done, to nobody's great surprise, X-Wing is on notice and Armada Wave 8 is do-or-die.

I don't think it's panic stations on the board games yet though. It sounds more like they're consolidating the digital arm into Asmodee Digital at this time, and probably the main board game brand will follow. It'll be like Mayfair and Lookout Games a couple of years ago. Lookout had basically been publishing Mayfair's games for them for a little while, until eventually Mayfair turned it over to Lookout completely and their logo got taken off the boxes. So you'll still get your expansions for Marvel Champions, they'll just be Asmodee instead of FFG.
