Was looking at the 970 Evo Plus, but prices are heading upwards towards £180 for that drive now. Actually prices for SSDs in general seem to be creeping up fairly steadily atm. Thanks, Obama.

980 Pro is ~£250
Sn850 is ~£215

Sn750 is supposed to be a lot slower than the 970 Evo Plus for random reads/writes.
The Adata that used to be recommended has changed spec and now is a lot slower.
The Sabrent seem to have reliability issues.

Any other candidates?

I'm in the market too.

I'm looking at the wd sn850 or 750. Comes down to price per performance...

The gigabyte aurus PCIe 4 looks decent for the cost.

Ya the sabrent rocket plus although faster in read write reviewed slow in real world testing.

I'm personally leaning toward the wd 850 or 750 or both...
