Final spec check!

    Okay, after all the advice and much budget calculation I'm going for it. Here's what I've got so far, can someone give it a quick run through to make sure I haven't missed any compatibility issues please (eg cpu cooler size/mobo issues)? Gonna run on-chip graphics for now and an old IDE HDD, may have to run xp until I can afford a 64bit OS. Cheers!

    Apparently £1473 overdrafts aren't looked upon favourably by credit agencies. Ah well, gotta do it the hard way and start saving up:eek:

    I am thinking of a similar setup and wondering, isnt the ram speed overkill for that motherboard?

    It is, but I was planning on OCing as far as I could and wanted RAM that would free me up to push the board a bit, but there's cheaper stuff that would be fine otherwise.
