I've been waiting a long time but they've finally found one of my emails and have decided to try and scam me copy if email if interested The email subject says ***SPAM*** in it though, is this something that squirrelmail automatically adds in ? Its been sent to my university email account. I need to think of a good way to scam him out of money if this is for real. Any ideas what to do with him?
Nigerian scam emails? I get hundreds of basic mortgage spam...insurance etc... well, most my current email accounts get no spam... my hotmail one which i use for MSN gets hundreds yahoo and gmail are doing a good job
I've had the above one I dont get too many on my hotmail account. Get loads of my gmail one, even though I dont use it.
i read a case of a guy who decided to 'out scam' the scammer - i can't remember where i saw it but he got a few thousand pounds and gave it to charity - the scammers were so greedy they fell for it.
My fave was the one where a Nigerian astronaut needed money to return home after he was stranded on a space station. Wish I'd saved it...
I don't know if I'm just being thick, and obviously since it is a scam email it's not exactly likely to make much sense but still surely 70% and 20% doesn't make 100% right?
How does anybody fall for any of these scams? I have to assume that some people are falling for them otherwise they would not exist.
