Finally upgraded!!

    going from a 5 year old penty 4 rig with a 9800 non pro

    to this

    Antec super Lanboy Aluminium Mini tower

    ASUS A8N-SLi Deluxe

    AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+

    Crucial 1GB (2X512MB) DR PC3200

    256MB nVidia XFX 7900GT

    250 GB Samsung SpinPoint P120 , SATA II

    Samsung SyncMaster 930BF - flat panel display - TFT - 19"

    Creative Inspire T7900 7.1 Speaker System

    Saitek PC Gaming Mouse 1600dpi 7 Precision Buttons

    Saitek (PZ08AU) Pro Gamers Keyboard - Backlit with separate Programmable numeric Pad Saitek (PZ08AU) Pro Gamers Keyboard - Backlit with separate Programmable numeric Pad.

    some of it from here some of it isnt expected end of the week!!

    cant wait to put this together,will post pics when its all done.

    will i notice much difference in the performance?

    its a nice machine you have there, just 3 things i would of questioned.

    you should of got a Samsung SM-913N, rather than the BF. Would of saved some money there and i think the N is slightly better at games than the BF(would be best to check).

    don't know much about speakers in general, but its a widely knows fact that for a similar price you could pick up much better speakers with better amp and output if you bought non-pc speakers. again best to check this up.

    last thing is, if you really want to play games should of got 2 gig of ram.

    but apart from that its a lovely machine there, enjoy it, personally myself would of waited for intels conroe.

    To answer your question:

    Yes, you will see a massive difference. :D

    Would agree with comment above on ram - 2Gb would be better for your gaming, which i guess you'll be doing with a GFx card like that - Mmmmm! :)
