Hi All

Anyone know if I can rip out the guts of a shuttle PC (SX48P2 E) and place it into a Lian Li C50 HTPC?

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-236-LL

I've been looking at the manual to see what the motherboard is and all it says is XPC Mainboard, I was expecting it to say Micro ATX

I would like to upgrade the case so I can place it with some AV Kit and also load a couple more HD's into the case. I don't mind having to buy a new power supply (as it looks like I will have to anyway) but what I don't want to do is replace the Motherboard etc (I cant justify that cost wise)..

Any help would be much appreciated indeed!

Well I looked into this some more and looking at the MB in the shuttle the riser cards are in the wrong place for a start!!

Think I may go down option 2 route and sell the Shuttle and build myself a new HTPC...
