Pre-order to get a 10% discount and access to the pre-release beta, approximately two weeks before release.

So who's buying/pre-ordering? I know a lot of us buy every couple of years to get the biggest jump in features whilst some of us buy every release going!

I got an email from voidu offering it for £27 so decided to get it early for I think the first time since I got a pre-release of CM2 thanks to my best mate working for domark at the time as a games tester on CM.

when they go back to the simpler times of Champ Man 93/94 without all the nonsense bloated in the modern titles is when I go back to playing this 10 hours a day again. Obviously that's never going to happen though, I absolutely hate the newer titles.

I agree. I have CM 01/02 on my laptop and its great fun. Every time I play the last FM I bought (maybe 3 or 4 years ago) I feel like I need my coaching badges and a business degree to get anywhere with it!

Don't they have an alternative play mode which does exactly that? I think they have for the last couple of years.

Touch or go whatever it's called?

I did try it one year, I think maybe 2017, it still felt dead to me, no excitement in it. I can't accurately put my finger on what's missing, but in the old days looking at players season average ratings, top scorers, highest attendances, the board doing seasonal stadium upgrades, players moving abroad in big money moves, and that lovely 2d match engine with the simple skins.....it just felt so much more exciting.

Did they ever include the ability to change your strip ? It always seemed really bizarre to me that my team would be wearing the same away kit for 40 years, always thought that kit deals and changing your strip each/every other season would be a staple of representing football management

I would be far more interested in getting involved with sponsorship/financial aspects than the bloody social groups and aspects of the players for sure.
