This effects news traffic too.
Usenet is down to 50 Kb/s between 6pm & midnight

Off to Zen or Newnet I suppose...

depends on who your usenet provider is and which port they use. I only get a general slowdown from 4pm -8pm and then if it stays low speed i just choose a different port to connect to the server with rather than the standard 119 nntp port.

f2s have been ok to me so far but i will wait and see.

Speeds of up to 8mbit, but Newnet don't do it.
