I need some input in regards to a garden issue.
We had our patio laid down. Now there seems to be rain water coming towards our house. It should have been draining away from it.
But the way the workers laid down the patio it’s all uneven and the water isn’t flowing where it should be.
We have the slabs and then the border around it. Then between the border and the house there is a another outline border of small pebbles.
My question is do I need to put drains in the gap between the house and the border?
If I do what drains? I’ve been shown the plastic drains and I’ve been shown the drains that are galvanised.
Which one would be best if I need to get them placed?
If we use the plastic drain how would we clean that out as i assume we can’t open it. Where as the galvanised ones open with a clip but would this break over time? Also which one would last longer?
