Geforce 7300 GS vs Radeon 9500 Pro

    From what I read, the Geforce 7300GS is almost useless for gaming - does it perform worse or better than an old AGP Radeon 9500 Pro ?

    Good question. I'd guess there wouldn't be a lot in it. Worth checking Orb, maybe 3dmark03 will have some comparisons.

    I'd say about the same performance on average - it's got 'weak' raw specifications but more efficient architecture/enhancements as it's 3 generations newer tech. Either way, both are too weak for the majority of newer games, although will probably be Ok at between 800x600 and 1024x768 with no AA depending on the game.

    Thanks guys. I suspect the 9500 Pro may be a bit better, but not a lot in it as sugegsted. I'll check 3DMark 2003
