Would the performance increase be noticable?

yea a 4800se is the same as the 4600 but with 8x agp, it was a similar card to a 9700pro iirc. how much is it gonna cost for the upgrade?

Seems abit expensive. I got a 5900XT for £30 a few months back.

Also, IIRC the 4800 was the AGP 8x version of the 4400. Though I'm not sure on that.

I'd go with the 9700pro also as it has pixel shader 2.0. The 4800 dosent so that means you cant play games like BF2 etc.

The Ti4800 was the AGP 8X version of the Ti4600

The Ti4800se was the AGP 8X version of the Ti4400

Yes you can play any game including BF2 with this card, It just defaults to PS1.1(or was it 1.2) anyway you should be fine.
