Getting a US Zune: good idea?

Was thinking of getting a Zune from the US, does anyone know if there's any compatibility issues with this? Will it be any different from the long awaited UK version?

Works fine as it charges by usb, doesn't work on the zune marketplace though

As for what the UK version will be like, by the time its out here there will be a new version of the Zune out
