Lots of lads I know think that the way to improve their 1.5mile time is to run longer and longer distances, in reality this just trains them to run for a long time slowly (reletivly). The BPFA(or whatever name we're on) is a sprint, so I would work on running fast, its a silly test with no real world use though but you do need to pass it.

Before the run you have to do your sit ups, you'll probably hip flex when you do these and drain your thighs so get used to doing these before the real run or you'll be drained on the day.
