Getting Xbox 360 in hd

Hi,
Just got xbox premium, which has the hdmi port. To watch it on a hd tv, do i need is the Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable, or is it just a normal hdmi cable? And if it is just a normal one, is there any way to use that on tv, and sound via an amp (with rca cables)?

And not asking for names (just if there are any), but are there any high street stores that sell these at normal prices? I know almost all cheap cables online are quite a lot more expensive in big highstreet stores.

To do what you want (picture via HDMI and sound via RCA) then you do need to buy the official HDMI lead as it comes with an adaptor to allow you to connect RCA and optical outputs.

The official lead tends to be about £25-30 which I suppose is worth the extra over standard high shop prices for a normal one simply because you ARE getting the box.

Realised my tv has audio out, so don't need to "split" it - so any normal hdmi cable will do, won't it?
