I'm currently supporting an aging 970GTX and a HD Acer 27" monitor.
Nowadays I spend a lot of time working at my desk, so the real estate of an ultrawide would be great for working but I don't really want to lose my 144hz and 1ms response time.
I'm not overly bothered about gaming at ultrawide, but that would be nice, but are they intelligent enough to allow me to run 2 windows, one with the game and another with some like discord or Twitter running?
I suppose the age old question is l, do I need a new graphics card to support this, and does anyone have recommendation for a ultrawide 34'+ that would be good for both gaming and work?
