Toffee's are playing well away from home, BUT if Liverpool score early I suspect Everton will do an Everton and just bend over! Or Pickford will just do something dumb!
Fabinho's still out for us so I guess it'll be the same side that played midweek unless Klopp throws a wild selection out there, which to be fair he's done a few times in the derby.
If you're ever going to win at Anfield it's tomorrow. I've always felt that Everton haven't been able to handle the pressure they've been put under from their own fans in derbies, particularly the ones where they've gone into with people fancying them to get a result. No fans in the ground will take a bit of that emotion out of the game and that might help your lot more than our CB issues.
Think the Leeds game was pretty even should have put our chances away, Wolves had a lucky goal hitting Meslier in the back and bouncing in.
Traore's strike was pretty marvelous, sort of deserved a goal.
It was a good whack but it still was a miss statistically.
Just catching up, Minamino! Mugged off Azpilicueta and Mendy a treat
Ready for a classic Southampton second half collapse now
Edit - standard bit of Southampton VAR luck too by the sounds of the BBC commentary
Can't complain at the result, would have taken a point against Chelsea before the game.
Djenepo got absolutely kicked all over the pitch and it took until 80 minutes for a card to appear.
Does anyone else miss the pre pandemic MOTD? It used to be a football feast with 7-8 games on a Saturday night, now you’re lucky to get 5, and most weeks it’s only 4. Just not the same.
Mind you, it was never as good after Hansen left anyway.
and 2 of them 4 tonight are Burnley V West Brom and Fulham V Sheff United......what more can you ask for
There's this curse whenever I'm working day shift at the weekend that all the games we watch are snoozers... no different today.
Luckily there’s a good fight on sky tonight. Should be a right tear up, the boxers hate each other
Can't see Everton offering much, they are so erratic anyway let alone with their main threat on the bench. They blew it, 3 points behind liverpool with 3 games in hand. They will get thumped today. Should be an enjoyable game though.
What impressive dross from Burnley, I know they haven't scored many this season but Vs 10 men for an hour and the goals West Brom concede? Thats special.
Never been more grateful for the final whistle, Burnley are embarrassing, 2nd best to a poor 10man WBA team.
This is going to be absolutely horrible.
Agreed, if it goes **** up I will lock the thread and thread ban all the Liverpool supporters.
Interesting that DCL is starting on the bench.
Kabak isn’t very good is he
