Can't believe City are playing KdB again. He's played every game since the restart, looked shattered towards the end of the Chelsea game (got left for dead by William for Chelsea's winning penalty) and has a history of muscle problems. They really can't afford to lose him for the CL games after Aguero's injury

Probably rest him in the league. That’s less important than the cup now.

City are looking a bit one dimensional though, Newcastle are defending narrow and they're still trying to pass through the middle. Just get it out wide and put some crosses in.

Micah Richards is such a pointless pundit, he's got to be one of the most biased I've ever seen. He's banging on about how City have got better every year, yet they're clearly worse this year than last and arguably had their best season in 2017/18 when they set the records point total.

If the opposition got better then City could do too, meaning they could be better than the 17/18 team.

But they've had a worse season in most measurable stats than they did last year or the year before. I can see how you could make the argument for them being better last year than they were in 2017/18, but it's really hard to argue they haven't gone backwards this year.

edit: of course City get the easiest draw (no offence Arsenal fans), their luck in cup draws is absurd.
